David Beckham`s son eyes the ladies
David Beckham`s admits that he finds it `scary` to see how fast his son Brooklyn is growing up, now that the 12-year-old has started noticing the opposite sex.
David Beckham`s son Brooklyn is developing an eye for the ladies.
The 12-year-old is starting to notice the opposite sex and David admits that it`s "scary" to see how grown up his eldest is.
The LA Galaxy footballer, 36, said: "[It`s] scary because I can see Brooklyn getting different interests.
"Wanting to go out with his friends, wanting to talk about girls, growing up into a young man." But David - who also has sons Romeo, nine, and Cruz, six, as well as baby daughter Harper with wife Victoria Beckham - is glad that his last-born will have big brothers to protect her.
He told the Telegraph Magazine: "I must admit I would rather it be three boys than three girls. "By the time Harper is a teenager she`s going to have three older brothers that are going to be, well, men."
The former Manchester United star showed just how protective he can be when he got `sent off? for sticking up for a child whilst watching son Romeo play football in Los Angeles.
During an appearance on the Jonathan Ross Show, he said: "I was watching the kids play the other day, it was the game just before they were playing.
"It was the younger kids of Romeo`s club, and they`re playing in the game and there was a penalty given. And the kids are seven-years-old and he sent the kid off.
"And I was like, `Come on, he`s seven-years-old, referee, you can`t send him off?. And he looked at me and was like, `Yes, I can`. And I was like, `Ok, well, you can`t, he`s seven-years-old`.
"And he came over and gave me a red card. He told me to get out of the park. For real. The gate was only 20 yards away and I waited and went back in when my son`s game was on."
